Therapy is not something I thought I’d be on the receiving end of, let alone providing it for others. As I was growing up I struggled with mental health issues and felt as if I had no one to turn to. The concepts of mental health and therapy were culturally taboo or seen as “not real” in my family. I’m here to tell you that your mental health and well-being are valid and you are not alone. I want to be the support for others that I never really had myself.

My therapeutic approach involves creating a safe and welcoming environment for all clients to feel comfortable and confident in navigating through their life challenges.

The following interventions are used to aid my clients in their therapeutic journeys: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Strengths-Based, and Gottman Method.

I received both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work at Azusa Pacific University and I have experience working with individuals, couples, and children/adolescents.
